Over the years I have read a lot and every once in a while I find some pearl of wisdom that deserves to be shared with others.

Now some of us just email our friends. Others print off those words and copy them for our friends. I thought I would put them here and share them with my friends as well as others.

After all didn't someone once say "there are no strangers, just friends we have not met"? Not sure who, or if there is an author.

Think Outside Of the Box

You are driving along in your car on an extremely stormy night. You pass a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:
1) An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2) An old friend whom once saved your life.
3) The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.

Question:
Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing you can only fit one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was actually on a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back.

However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

The candidate who was Hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer.

He simply answered: ' I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the old lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams.'

Never forget To 'Think Outside Of the Box.'

"Every person, all the events of your life are there because you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you."

--Richard Bach

"Life is too important to be taken seriously"

--Oscar Wilde

Serenity is not the absence of chaos, but the acceptance of circumstance.
